Anyone care to claim one of the MIT acceptances on the PolSci forum please?

Has anyone that applied to MIT organic chemistry track heard back from them?

Email from the department with funding info attached. Straight out of college with little research experience. SS and MM fields.

Has anyone received any updates or interviews for this program yet? The big schools seem slow this year

absolutely thrilled! first acceptance this cycle

Right when I gave up all my hope for this application year. God is gracious.

Has anyone else already had their interviews?

Didn't send GRE scores as they were optional. Very excited and surprised. BA and MA with honors from top 2 UK university. IR focus.

To the person who got accepted, congratulations! Could you tell me your field and if you had an interview?

Please, who knows any online platform like thegradcafe where we can monitor admissions and credentials. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. My application portal shows application completed. Is it supposed to show under review or you have the same status?

Post-interview rejection.

Hey guys, I am really anxious when do you think will send the results, Any news will be appreciated?

Chemical biology. Got a phone call from POI.

an overseas phone call from POI.

I applied for both chemical biology and organic. The POI was in chemical biology. I'm pretty disappointed too, but not surprised given the number of acceptances posted. I'm sure there will still be a couple more, though....at least, I hope.

Aww darn it! :( Do you know if they meant for all the departments or yours specifically? What department are you in?

Same here. I haven't received anything yet. Please keep us updated if you got any news! Good Luck!!!

Contacted a POI, was told a the vast majority of offers were extended last week but they couldn't comment on my status. Bummer. At least they replied.
