will be declining, so i hope this opens up spots for those on the waitlist!

applied to phd, accepted to masters without interview

To the poster below, I never received a decision either. So ridiculous.

Rejected for the PhD direct program. (International Student)

rejected from the waitlist.... my last hope

On April 9th I received a letter saying I'm waitlisted. On April 11th, I sent my first email to a Professor (I had no prior communication with any professor at BU). The next day, I received an admission letter offering 5 years of support and distinguished mechanical engineering fellowship for the 1st year. BU is where I wanted to be.

To the comment/query posted below, if I were you, I would call the department to gain clarity about what information they mean. Also, I don't know if you have checked your Spam Emails. A lot of the times, important emails from programs end up there.

Still haven’t received a decision from UMB. Super unprofessional. What a waste of money.

Has anybody else heard from the Creative Writing department about their MFA admission decision? The last post, here, is from the 6th of April. Also, upon inquiring last week, I got an email saying that they're still 'reviewing' my application. Don't know what's going on since this is so late.

Masters in economic policy. Canadian student, undergrad at UBC

Accepted off the waitlist with generous scholarship of $10,000 for the year. Honestly a little shocked because of how low my subject text score was. Not a great fit for me and I accepted an offer (with TA-ship and better funding) elsewhere. Hopefully someone that's a better fit for BU will get my spot ASAP! 3a/0w/14r/1p

out of the waiting list

At the person who just was rejected (sorry that happened :( ), when did you apply? It's been almost six weeks for me, and I haven't heard anything yet, and I am so anxious.

was very excited to get an admission to this program, unfortunately didnt happen.

Has anyone heard from Boston?

BU admits and/or wait listed candidates -- Does anyone know if the wait list is still active? I reached out last week to request a status update but did not receive a reply. Thanks!
