Personal circumstances that influenced a lower GPA. BS Degree will be ACS Certified. Lots of effort and many hours were put into drafting my resume, research statement, and statement of purpose. Had 3 letter writers that I knew could write me REALLY strong LORs. Involved on campus and community through chemistry club. 1.5 years of research, 1 summer research internship, 4 poster presentations (1 at ACS Conference), no publications.

I received an email to check the portal. I have 3.5 years of research experience (combined undergrad and work experience) and I reached out to the professor I want to work with ahead of time. The GRE was not required so I did not submit it. I have not received any financial information yet.
