Same thing as the poster below: 20 spots available over all with over 150 applicants. I guess the 20 spots were for part time and full time students.

Emailed on March to gradchair he told that our program is too competitive and the acceptance rate is less that 2 percent! Shocked!!

To the poster below for TAMU ISE (MS): Many students got admission during 3/31~4/1 (I am one of them, but I'll decline this offer), ISE department gave us only 10 day to consider if we accept the offer or not (deadline: 4/10). I think after 4/10 you will get admission very soon.

Decide to accept the offer. The department is growing fast and the program is more OR focused.

To MIRHR query of me below: I submitted my application for the part-time program on January 25th. My degree was in 2001, Fine Arts, but I've spent nearly a decade working in the public service as an office manager and serving as a union steward. I am a little surprised that my employment and volunteer experience did not at least waitlist me, but the rejection letter stated that for over 150+ applicants, there are only 20 spaces. So it is what it is. Waiting to hear the official word from another school which has sent me what looks like a pre-approval letter just today as well; while I would have really liked the program at U of T, I luckily didn't put all my eggs in that basket.

For the MIRHR poster below, when did you put in your application and what was your degree background?

Bummer, but not hugely surprised. Rejection e-mail was concise and polite, simply stating the competitive nature of the program and the large number of applications vs. the number of positions. I'm grateful to know an answer!

To the poster below for TAMU MS in CS, I have the same question literally. A couple of my friends mailed to the help desk and they got the same reply back. It says that all the major decisions will be rolled out by 15th April. So, keeping fingers crossed. I can understand that this waiting is beoming unbearable.
