Applied at the end of August (deadline for the Spring semester was Sept. 1st--I was waiting on one last letter of recommendation!). My letters of rec were strong, and I work for TSLAC + have volunteer experience at the LBJ Presidential Library and Museum. Recent graduate from UT Austin; I majored in history and minored in classics. Good luck to anyone else still waiting!!!

This was my top choice for where I wanted to attend, meaning the university itself. I was hoping to hear back from the Creative Writing program first but still waiting. I've read that can be a good or bad thing at this point. But still hopeful, still waiting back on two others as well. My Undergrad years I was average, my GRE scores were average yet weird (my verbal score way higher than my quantitive). 1a/1r/3p
