Please reply to this poster if anyone got an admit for MaSc program because everyone is telling that the no professors are replying to the emails and it would certainly be a reject by this time.

I mailed the department asking them when will I get any update on my application status and received an auto-reply stating that if no professor has chosen my application by April 15 I won't be getting an admission offer. I don't understand why couldn't this be informed earlier or why couldn't they have sent a rejection? It's frustrating.

Dr. Tian Li emailed me however my interest (robotics) does not fall into that research field. Yesterday: While you applied to the research-based degree program, we do not have the capacity to admit every qualified applicant to that program. However, we are able to offer you admission to our on-campus Professional Master's Program or Online Master's in Mechanical Engineering Program. Early time, I rejected University of Michigan, Ann Arbor ME MSE/ University of pennsylvania MEAM/ JHU ME offer and plan to enroll University of Southern California Computer Science MS. Guys, do not go ME anymore because the easiness of getting ME job has nothing to do with school ME rank. Plus, we all know purdue is not most cutting edge in ME field. This is my warning to international people who plan to study ME terminal Master!

Received a generic email for Professional Masters or an online MS. Applied for on-campus MS, though. So, I guess it is a rejection.

TTPB: I sent them an email. was told I will get final decisions this week. If you received their email this month, I think there is no need to send again. Blessings.

First I wad admitted into the program. Then I emailed the professors. After that, I interviewed a professor. He newly opened his lab and intend to take several students for the fall 2020 session. Lucky me! Had a good interview and got the offer letter within a week.

TTPB: I don't think so. For M&AE, I got this mail today: Dear [FIRSTNAME], Thank you for your email. MAE PhD applications are still under review. Decisions will be released on a rolling basis between now and early May. Kind regards,

E-mail to check portal. A very long wait for my dream school but still get rejected. Anyway, feel relieved

Even though I am waiting a result as you do, but I have to say it has listed on its website that the decision will be released from Feb through June, so stop complaining about that, you can pay deposit to you top offer so far and wait for a few more days for Berkeley's decision

Coming from a university of better caliber than madison. Confused by this, as this was my safety with instate and all but have better choices.

TTPB tbh I think the universities that do not reply until April 15 should give a refund for the application fee. I am thinking of sending them an email about it.
