Creative Nonfiction applicant. Email to check website, where there was a brief rejection notice. :( My only MFA application but I was still very serious about it. 2a/1w/4r

Good school with a great lit. magazine, but gonna decline. Good luck for those on the waitlist!

Didn't have much hope for this one, but still wanted to see what would happen. Got an email directing me to a rejection letter on the portal. I'll get into one of these top tier schools if it's the last thing I do! Just gotta work harder. 3a/1w/4r/2p

Pretty pleased to be considered by such a good program, but I'm going to reject to offer. From what I hear, funding for those who move off the waitlist can be scant, and I've been taken in by a good school already. Best luck to those crossing their fingers for NYU!

email w/ link to standard rejection letter

Email to check portal. 1a/0w/1r/1p, plus 1 at interview stage.

Email to check online application. Standard rejection letter.

yay! first think resembling a win this season

I got a wierd response when I emailed the grad liaison, saying that acceptances have been issued. Based on other posts, I know I'm not on the waitlist, but I haven't gotten a rejection either. I was sort of hoping at least for a definitive no, but the grad liason couldn't tell me that either. I'm still guessing it's a no, but oh well.

Second year running for this expansive, stagnant wait list... Calling another season a wrap.

I actually got the news a couple weeks ago because of the GTAship, but didn't want to post too early since I'm still waiting for the "official" letter. Anyway, this is where I'll be going; the funding is very generous. Expect the waitlists at Boulder and the U of U to move soon.

Got a notification to check the portal. $43,500 tuition fellowship, which would put a dent in tuition, but honestly not enough. It was like, the back-up of my back-up school, so soon I'll be declining once I get my other paperwork done. 4a/1r/0p

They will not say what my place is on the waitlist.

I got an email from Lisa Russ Sparr & James Livingwood with my rejection; got the grad portal email a few days later with the same info

meh

I believe the waitlist emails just went out. I know half a dozen other people in Draft have also received the waitlist email.
