To the post of many rejections below: First of all I am sorry for your rejections, but from my experience as a fellow applicant, Master programs look heavily on GPA and GRE, much more than PhDs. People around me who got in top Master programs in CS have avg GRE of 330 with AW around 4, and GPA of >= 3.8 (a lot are >= 3.9) from prestigious universities. All of your stuff looks great, but you have to be aware those you are competing against have awesome profile as well, which includes research experience good submissions or publications, and good letters from well-respected faculty members. I hope you don't feel too bad because you already have good job offers, which a lot of us don't have.

Has UIUC given all Masters offers? If not, can anyone give an idea about the areas/groups that have given out the offers. Saw a couple of posts regarding UIUC offering admits. Please post if you have received the results. Thanks

Graduated with Top 5% of the class from a university in Southeast Asian. Have been doing research for 4 years with 4 papers (1 in AAAI). Internships at NUS, Singapore and KAUST, Saudi Arabia. Strong LoRs. Bad TOEFL speaking. I guess the dream remains a dream. It's challenging and I should pivot to another direction. The third year got rejection from MIT

AI. No interview. TA offer. 1 journal paper (not related). GRE not required.

To the guy who got accepted in UTA, where are you from and can you please share your profile and interest major?

Are all the admits out, I see in last year all the admits were out by this time.

Had an interview with POI yesterday. He said that acceptances had to be finalised by the end of this week and we can expect to hear from them by the end of the week or early next week.

Have official acceptances gone out? I know some unofficial acceptances have gone out. Thanks!

To peeps below. I had an interview today. They mentioned they sent out rejects to people whose apps didn't have a prof interested to interview. They said final results would be done in 2 weeks at max as they are planning on a visit day in mid-march.
