Rejected a few days back .. today received this mail: "Based on the information you submitted to the Purdue University Graduate School, you may qualify for admission to Purdue University Fort Wayne to pursue graduate studies. No matter your interests or career goals, we have a program for you. Along with an expansive array of master's degree programs, you'll also find graduate certificate options as well. View all of your programs and see requirements. Ready for some more great news? You may apply at our campus without paying an additional application fee. Request the waiver or learn more." Any idea how Fort Wayne is in comparison to Purdue W.L campus for MS CS? In any case, I can't take it up; based on earlier Purdue rejection, applied for a F-1 visa appointment already (paying visa fees of $160) and provided details of I-20 from another university.

TTPB: My application status is still 'submitted.' Is there anyone else waiting to hear from Purdue? Am I waitlisted? Just got rejected from UC - Irvine and this is my last hope.. any comments pertaining to Purdue's admissions would be very helpful. Thanks.

Your application for admission to the Purdue University Graduate School has been reviewed by the Computer and Information Technology program. We regret to inform you that your application has been denied. Admission into the Computer and Information Technology program is competitive and many factors are carefully considered when admission decisions are made. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide specific feedback on your application.

Expected. Mass rejects today.

Finally heard back. Rejected from phd but offered admission into master's program. I already accepted a fully funded offer weeks ago, not sure what is up with this department. 9a/5r.

"Your application for admission to the Purdue University Graduate School has been reviewed by the Economics program. We regret to inform you that your application has been denied. Admission into the Economics program is competitive and many factors are carefully considered when admission decisions are made. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide specific feedback on your application." No hard feelings, going to a way better program anyways. But this is the laziest wording (only 4 sentences) and unclearest rejection letter ever looked at. Unable to "provide specific feedback", what does it even supposed to mean? It gives a feeling that my application was not even welcomed, and they don't want to comment on it, lol.

Finally heard back. I had a feeling but that's okay. I wasn't too interested in the faculty all the way.

TPB: Krannert school said "All of our offers have gone out and unfortunately you are not being offered admission to Purdue." No response from the Econ department.

Do you think all the results are out? Have they sent the rejection letters? I sent them an email last week. No answer.

ANgry that they took so long to reach a decision. Very unprofessional! Btw, I applied for Biotechnology program.

To the poster for purdue university below. I believe all the admits are out. If you email the graduate committee asking for status they will send you a reject in reply. Apparently, they do not send denials until late in the spring :/

Are admits all out? Just wondering...

Love that they let me know after the deadline lol

Very sad, and a bit put out that they waited until 4/16 to notify, honestly

Just declined Full-Funded offer with RA ship. Good luck to everyone.

RA-ship. Can you please inform me about your financial packages? Thanks!
