Crushed because this was my top school. Looks like I won't be going to grad school this year! 0a/4r/0w/2p

International student here! Just got an email from the two faculty members who interviewed me back in January informing me of my acceptance to the PhD program. They informed me that formal letters with the funding details will come out next week. I'm extremely happy! Good luck, everyone!

For those emailing them and finding out your status, what did you say in the email?

Nice form email. Unsurprised, wrote possibly the cringiest personal statement ever written. Congratulations to all those accepted- so many wonderful profs, I've heard great things about the environment there !

No interview just the email. I have my MA in Interpersonal Communication, several years of research experience, and good letters of rec, but not an incredibly impressive GPA or quant scores. PI initials were V.Z.

GPA is MA

I didn't have a snowball's change in hell (3.5 GPA, not published, and the strongest LOR never arrived after the writer said they submitted it), but their rejection email was thoughtful.
