Invited to the SBS interview week via email.

I got it last night after just under a week ago being rejected by another program. At this point I am waiting for the last three rejections, to those who got interviews and offers congrats you all deserve it, this process is stressful.

OK undergrad GPA, OK GRE scores. 3 years of research experience, 2 poster presentations at national conferences, and currently working a technician job in the field during my gap year. Contacted 2 POIs beforehand and am meeting them at the RSMAS interview weekend. Super excited, this is my first invite!

This (grad20) appears on all applicant's status page it does not indicate the outcome of your application. This is the reply from the grad committee

Emailed directly by the program director. Definitely the nicest rejection I've received.

"The program to which you applied indicated the following as the reason(s) that you were not selected for admission: Not competitive with other applicants because- Scholarship below that of admitted applicants" -ouch

Received an email telling me to check my application for a decision.

Top choice program... very short and impersonal message on application website. Extremely disappointed that I was not even given a chance for an interview.
