Invitation to Doctoral Candidate Session and Interviews; POI: DF

Thank you for submitting an application for graduate study to the Biomedical Graduate Studies (BGS) Program at the University of Pennsylvania. Every year there is a large number of applications to the BGS Program, and unfortunately your application was not among those we were able to accept. I trust that you have been or will be admitted for graduate study to another university of your choice. I would like to take this opportunity to wish you continued success in your studies. They trust....

"We want to thank you again for applying to the IGG program in the School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. We had an exceptional number of strong applicants this year due to unusual circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic. Although your application was extremely strong, we will not be able to interview you for admission to IGG for 2021. We want to emphasize that we found your application compelling and want to encourage you to consider applying to IGG next year. In fact, we would welcome a conversation to discuss our analysis of your materials and make suggestions for bolstering your application next year. Please let me know if you are interested in this opportunity and we will schedule a call with one or more members of our admissions committee."
