Has any international applicant heard anything from UCLA so far (I was told from someone in the dept that they review first domestic and then international applicants)?

What the poster said below is NOT true; UCLA has not sent out most acceptances, howecer, they have the decisions already.

Reached out to the PI I had a Skype interview with and he gave me the news.

UCLA receives many more applications than there are student places available. Each of these applications is carefully reviewed by a departmental faculty committee. In this extremely competitive environment, many talented and promising students are not recommended for admission by these committees.

2 Journal Publications and 1 year of Research Experience in NTU Singapore. Congrats to all who received an admit :D.

I sent UCLA an email, and they replied, "We expect review of applications to be completed by end of February 2019. All applicants will be notified of their status after the start of March 2019."

I got an email from the professor that they took two candidates this year and I am not one of them so the post below is legit

Wait-listed. Was among 'top' applicants, but not enough space for first round of acceptances. Will hear back about final decision once 04/15/2019 deadline passes.

Co-advised by several advisors in nlp and ml area. Interviews in early Jan and two weeks ago.

American subfield. Found out around midnight EST. 3a/4r/2p/1w Good Luck Everyone!

Has anyone heard back from the Public Health Department (Community Health)? I applied to the Ph.D. program but never heard from them.
