To the poster below who are admitted to the Master program: are you domestic Canadian applicant or international applicant?

Hi Guys, I saw in the last year U of T would make the offer in the first week of February. Is there someone who got some response from U of T? like an interview?

Official email from department. First author NeurIPS paper, multiple research internships at a GAFA company and two research stays at top US schools. Absolutely stoked!

Official email from the linguistics grad program coordinator with funding information and invitation to open house March 6-7! Congrats to everyone who was admitted! Very excited to attend!

Machine Learning. Official email. Interviewed in January.

Didn’t have an interview so this was a pleasant surprise!

Accepted with funding. Invited to open house on March 6.

Admitted with email from Yoonjung Kang

Theory. No interview. Official email.

I received a phone call from the director of the program, so nice and smooth, letting me know that I got accepted out of numerous applicants. After a few days, I received an email containing details of financial supports. It sounds "an offer you cannot refuse!" (GPA is for MA)

UTM is definitely my one and only choice for my department and research focus. FINGERS CROSSED!!

Interviewed in January

Has anyone applied and/or heard back from the PhD of Information program yet, at the iSchool?

TTPB utoronto: Did you receive an interview? Could you share your background?

Interviewed by 2 professors on Feb 6
