Invited to visit weekend w/ faculty interviews

I wasn't going to be extra about it, but I received the rejection email three different times, so in the light of that... fuck you too UCSF. I didn't want your overpriced housing anyway

To the UCSD poster below: congratulations to your admission! Can you specify your research area please? And do they give interviews before admission? I applied for CV and have not heard anything from them at all...

first author submission to major conference pending, second author publication, 1 great and 2 average LORS.

Received a message through website messaging system to double check application and makes sure info. was accurate. The said review process still going. Did any one else got the same message?

Informed by my PI that I have been selected. The selection committee sat on 18th Jan (Friday) and finalized the decisions. The official decisions with the financials will start coming in the next month as told by him.

Got a mail for acceptance. First admit

I’ve already received a rejection in December without any notification, don’t know why the email finally came now. Also with a strange email indicating a “glitch in the system.” Don’t think I need to share my stats in detail at this point considering the high rejection rate for international applicants (in brief: have publications, many conference experiences and awards, years of full-time research)

Notification from POI and program head.

Two years HEP-Ex experience. Got an email from the PI on 3rd and had the interview via Skype on 16th. Approval from the professor but nothing official yet.
