I contracted the director of admission many times, and was told I will not receive more detailed information until this week at the earliest. Shit, it's almost April 15th!

Same here! I called them a few days back and they told me they will notify by e-mail. Well the wait is getting too long...a pain indeed. Could you call them and ask when they will give out the decisions for the wait listers? I hope its before 15th April!

Has anyone who was wait-listed got an offer? This waiting is stressing me out!

I found out the result on the website. Just said the committee has denied the application.

The status of my application changed to, "Your name has been placed on a waiting list." I'm hoping they let me know where I am on that waiting list.

There are currently 3 students with funding who have not yet responded to their offer and 2 in the waitlist ahead of me who might have decided to start another program. I wrote an e-mail to them. The answer: I regret to inform you that we will not be able to offer you admission to the Rutgers University Graduate Program in Physics and Astronomy. There were many more highly qualified applicants that we have the resources to support, and our incoming class for fall 2012 has now been filled. Thank you for your interest in us, and I wish you every success in your future studies. The status of my application on the website is still No Decision.
