To anyone on this thread: is there a reason why they would send out rejections all the way into March when they have already (according to two people on here) sent out all the acceptances for the EECS program? Also, has anyone applied for robotics and heard back?

TTPB: Currently a master's student in another department at MIT. I didn't speak with any PIs about my PhD application, but I had unrelated conversations with one of them in the past so they probably would've recognized my name.

I heard from a prof in EECS that all of the acceptance decisions have been made and distributed. Good luck in all future endeavors!

TTPB: From previous years, there is usually an initial batch of accepts and rejects, then a smaller second round of accepts a couple weeks later. After the second round, people who have not heard anything should likely receive a rejection. Not hearing anything at this point does not mean reject.

Did anyone not receive any information about their status either via email or website? Wondering if no acceptance is a direct reject or if there's some hope of waitlist atleast.
