To the posters below: If admitted students have time upto 15th April to accept/decline offer, how can we be notified before 15th April?

E-mail stating Department has recommended me for admission, a formal communication will come for department itself. Mail said - funding not generally available to all applicants, nothing further. Orientation on Aug 15, 2016

To the poster below: I received the same email, they told me that the decision will be out by April 15! Probably, They give all offers to people in 1st round already. They don't reject us yet just because if someone who got admission in the 1st round decline it, they will give admission to one of us who are in the waitlist ! Damn, other school tell me to make decision by April 15, I want to wait for Purdue but it can't :( Georgia Tech is not a bad choice anyway

Could someone explain to me what is the meaning of waitlist ? They emailed me that I will learn my result by April 15. Thank you

So excited!!! Also accepted to PITT and MGH IHP. I am waiting to hear from a couple other schools before making a decision

To posters below: I've received an offer to Purdue, and in speaking with Don Platt, he's said there's not an official wait-list, but rather a handful of applicants they're considering, and the spot goes based on need and fit, i.e., a real narrative style poet declines the offer, they'll probably fill his/her spot with another narrative poet.
