Super excited! Received an email from Director of Graduate Studies, Information Science. Short profile: combined five year work and research experience in the global south; 1 pub in an h5-index conference, many other pubs elsewhere. Very average GPA. Good luck to everyone!

Had an interview with POI and it went great. I'm feeling bummed.

Informal e-mail from POI, no interview. For future candidates, not everyone who is accepted is interviewed. So very thrilled. Good luck to everyone!

Not surprised but still bawled... really really anxious about my chances this year :( 0a/2r/0w/9p

Add them to the fuck em' list.

For those rejected, did you receive a direct email?

Had a talk with a POI a few weeks ago but was rejected

Got an informal official acceptance from a faculty member over email. I am over the moon, it was my first choice. I wish the actual offers would come out already because I only want to tell everyone once I get the details. Good luck everyone!

Bummer, but not surprising given the acceptances earlier. Congrats to those that got in! (1a/2r/0w/8p)

Double major and 3.83 GPA. Tough one but congrats to all who got accepted! 0a / 3r / 0 w / 11p

Does anyone who was rejected got an interview? I was invited for interview and a friend told me that Cornell invites for interview only the ones that are basically in, and they will reject you after an interview only if you really screw it up, otherwise you're in and they just want to know you “in person” and advertise about the course and university. Do you know if that's true? Has anyone interviewed and be rejected? Thanks.

Did anyone else's rejection email have weird typos?

One of my top choices with a great faculty of many shared research interests. Too bad!
