5a/1w/6r. Email to check portal. Received rejection from the PhD program and admission to the MA program with no funding. In this application cycle, two programs asked whether I agreed to consider a position at MA program if I was rejected by the PhD program. I said yes, and both programs rejected my PhD application. Applied to a joint scholarship funded by my country and Columbia University. Not sure if this affected the result.

Rejected from PhD program, however was notified in my email that my application was competitive just not a good fit for a PhD. So, they let me know they forwarded my application to the Master's program for consideration. I'm open minded so we'll see how it goes moving forward.

GPA is master's. I got an email to check the portal. Honestly very honoured because I know they only let in like four students a year. Turned it down though, as I've got a better offer.

In order to be considered for Master program, need to fill a form and do video interview in a week.
