We receive over 1,300 applications each year and each one is carefully reviewed by our admissions committee. Our goal is to begin making admissions decisions for PhD students by January 15 and to have the majority of PhD decisions completed by March 15. We will begin to review MS applications in March with decision notifications beginning around April 15. I found this in an auto generated reply. Guessing the bombardment of number of applicants. I dont think we'll receive any decision before May first week.

Haven't heard anything from University of Minnesota. Application submitted on November 2014 and it is now late April 2015...

I haven't received a decision yet, I've also emailed them twice but never received an answer. I also didn't get any response from USC as well and already accepted an offer from another program, hope I can get a refund on the application fee.

Applied Feb. 6th. So far nothing. Went as far as calling the director. He said a few days, a week has passed. This is really painful waiting.

Applied for M.A in CS with a non CS background. Accepted as a non-marticulated student after 4 months! Required to take data structures and an advanced programming class in C++ and then reapply for marticulation in the MS program. Uhhhh..... One offer from CUNY as a marticulated MA CS student. Waiting on NYU poly. NYU poly is taking forever.

Status in quest is changed to "admitted", but I'm not able to see the admission letter with details of funding. waiting for e-mail from university.

"Your application is still under review by the department. The department can take anywhere from 4-6 weeks to make a decision." Seriously!!

Finally! M Sc AC. No interview. They asked me to provide some missing docs and accepted me one day later. Have earned a graduate degree in electrical engineering outside CA and US.

Generic rejection mail... My journey for graduate studies never really took off.. halted at the start. Rejected from all schools. Many congratulations to all those accepted and to those in this forum.. Would miss this place and the feeling of hope everytime I read the threads.. Would feel terrible when I see this site and the schools status page in the most visited sites on my browser..will be clearing them off... Thank you all... what a failure I have been

I second the below USC poster. Guys please reject if you don't want to go here, a lot of us are still waiting for admits.

This is to Notify any student who got into USC and has other college accepts. Please take the other college. I have had 9/10 rejects and USC is the only one that i have not heard from. This is my only hope and if you would let go of your admissions i would get a chance. There are many of us who need these desperately..
