So I applied to IQ Bio through the Applied Math department, with CS and EEB as second and third choices, respectively. I had 3 rec letters, as required by IQ Bio, but Applied Math had 4 required. I was told this wasn't a problem, but my rejection notification came from Applied Math and not IQ Bio, so I am confused. Oh well! | ||||

Sounds like funding is really lacking. One POI didn't have enough funding to accept any students, and the other only had enough funding for one. Disappointing! | ||||

An e-mail sent me to a DocuSign website that told me I was accepted but without any funding. I've already received a fully-funded Ph.D. offer so I don't think I'll be accepting but it still feels good to be accepted! | ||||

Just wanted to add that the email notification simply said "please sign this document" and took me to their decision page, where the actual response was written out and a signature space was offered below. Pretty shitty and inconsiderate because it got my hopes up just to give me a disappointing MA alternative offer without any funding. | ||||
