Udergra CGPA 3.96. :( Disappointed.

To the post below asking about the Maryland Max Planck program, I received a reject from MPII today. Area: Computer Vision. However, I did not hear from the University of Maryland yet. Perhaps it is a silent reject.

Accepted to MSc program but University of Twente Scholarship has not been granted.

For the accepted posts below, would you mind telling us what's your area?

To the poster below choosing between CMU and UCSD: I strongly think you should go with CMU because it is THE top CS program in the world. Most of CMU's CS programs are advertised as cash cow but people do get funded after semester or so. They have abundance of funds for projects in AI/ML and have the resources to fund all students. As good as UCSD is, it can't compare to CMU. Believe me, you wouldn't regret going to CMU. Its worth every penny spent.

To the other UCSD admit posters below,did your application status on the web portal change after getting the mail,because mine hasn't.

To the poster below with GRE 335 and toefl 116. Thats really very weird to have been rejected with that profile. Can u think of any reason? I got accepted without GRE and TOEFL score of 98.

Has U. Texas Austin made any decisions for its masters program? Did anyone ask about expected decision date?

Received 4:36 pm (Chicago Time) today. Thank god he can do things impossible! My suggestion is, try to connect with professors before applying if you have intriguing ideas. It really helps! Definitely, I will accept the offer. Good luck to everyone still waiting! In belief, your dream will come true.

Does anyone have the same question as me? I submitted the application before 12.13 but the the status(seen from apply web) is still 'in progress'.

I know CMU is very strong in CS and hard to get into (for some of its finest programs), but I'm not very familiar with UCSD and hence the question. Has it got a nitch for your area of study or is its MSCS program really a good one?

To the post below confused between CMU and UCSD: Hi, I'm in the same position here (UCSD CS vs. CMU MSML). May I ask why you're leaning towards UCSD? What program are you admitted to in CMU?

To the post below, I actually applied to Mechanical Engineering program and also see the CertiFile tab in applyweb. I don't know what it means, but seeing as it's there for CS students as well might indicate that it's just a process for all graduate programs.

From a 3rd Tier College in India. GPA of 9.85, amongst the top 10 in the department. 1.5 years of mostly irrelevant work experience. One short paper in ICLR. Few projects in ML and NLP. GRE : V 163 Q 167.

Do you guys see the Certified Credentials Attachment Service option in ApplyWeb?

Is there another round for admission?
