Admissions Office: results won't be announced until very late Feb/March. Still in limbo, waiting eagerly.

Invited to virtual interview/recruitment weekend, with three options: Feb 11-13, Feb 25-27 and March 11- 13.

TT Penn PB: Yeah, that does seem lower than usual. When I spoke to the department, they said they were accepting 6-10 students. I'm surprised it would be 2 international students, maybe their funding for students is going to be from the department or med school since there are issues with grants and citizenship.

TTPB: Wow really? Do you have a reliable source who told you that? That seems low given the past classes...

Invitation to virtual visit. So excited!

Invited to the official virtual visit weekend!

TT Penn PB: I heard that Penn would only admit 3 PhD students in total this year, and only two spots for international students. Very competitive..

I believe they are, they sent interviews out previously and it seems like they're interviewing about 25 candidates. I'm not sure how many people they're looking to accept, though.

Does anyone know if Upenn is accepting any PhD students this year?

Simple letter of rejection wishing me the best of luck in my future academic endeavours.

An email directing to check the portal for the decision.

Called Penn GSE office of admissions re: application status. Confirmed that all interview invites for PhDs have been sent out already. Representative stated that not receiving an invitation did not necessarily mean a rejection, but as far as I'm aware, it does.
