Email says I have been recommended for admission and the official letter will be sent in a couple of business days. No mention of the deadline by which I have to make a decision about the offer. Undergrad from BITS Pilani, India. Undergraduate thesis, summer internship in Germany and good LoR's. Have an offer from CMU MCDS. Very much confused between the two.

I haven't got any result so far. I have a speculation that POIs only send offer emails, and that the left reject emails might be sent all together at some final day. Maybe this Friday.

I have the same situation with u. No feedback st all. I think it is reasonable to contact poi. Pleaz share with us if poi reply.

Anybody receiving any notification from ILCC yet and does anyone know the usual notification time?

Ok so I contacted them about the thesis based masters and they said that "No decisions will be made within the next two weeks" I don't know whether it means that they have already accepted some people or not.
