To the posters below, same here. I've applied to the second round (Feb 1st was the deadline) and I haven't heard anything. Also to the ILCC.

I have not yet received any sort of notification from CMU regarding MCDS program. Have they waitlisted me? Some of the posters have mentioned an explicit waitlist email being sent to them.

Any international PhD candidate got admitted?

TPB: Why do you say that? Do you know anyone who has been admitted? There haven't been any posts here on gradcafe at least. I think it's the usual time they take.

I'm in the same situation. I had the interview almost 2 weeks back and never heard from them. But I think they take around 2-3 weeks to give the decision. One of my friends had interviews early (I think we are in the second cycle of interviews) and he got the decision after exactly 2 weeks. We might get a response within a couple of days. Fingers crossed! :)

The Certifile thing has been present since the starting. I dont think its anything to worry about, especially with regards to international students

Indian Undergrad, no research experience, 3 years work experience from a top 5 Silicon Valley company.

I have no response too. But no one here ever reported the admission? Isn't it weird? (Hope no decision has been made)

To the post below, No I didn't try to contact them and haven't heard of such happenings earlier. Please do post their reply when you receive it. I too will try to mail them.

Checked the online portal this morning and saw my status change to "Under Graduate School Review." Then 10 hours later I checked again and saw my acceptance letter in my portal. Very Excited!

Mailed them yesterday. Got a reply saying results will be out next week.

My rejection email from CMU MSCS reads '... we decided not to admit you, based mainly on our belief that you will be better served by the other program ... '. It also congratulates me for getting 'accepted to a [some other] masters program at Carnegie Mellon'. However I only applied to MSML and MSCS, and my application in MSML is waitlisted. Does this mean that I got admit to MSML? I have heard no update from MSML. Anyone else got this email?

Has anyone been notified about their status for gates scholarship?

To the poster who asked below: No, they did not mention any date for replying. They said that we'll get the admission letter in a few days.

Is there anyone that didn't get the CertiFile on applyweb update?
