Very obvious form letter rejection; emailed the department three weeks ago with no response. I have better options, but I'm incredibly disappointed by the lack of professionalism from this department.

Was accepted without funding initially.. Contacted prof... Got RA 2200$ per month :D :D

To the penn state poster below: Dude, I'm on the same boat as you. I mailed them a week ago as well asking about my status and they didn't reply yet. Do you know how many seats are available for this academic year? Honestly, I feel like they have very limited number of seats because so far I have seen very few admits from this university! I'm freaking out because I didn't get an admit yet! Good luck to us all!

Is Penn state done with decisions? I have not seen any in weeks. And I have mailed the department twice and have received no reply.

To the poster below, I was contacted personally and invited for a visit last month and accepted shortly after. From what I learned, they try to only accept people that are tied to a particular faculty member who have secured funding. If you know who you want to work for, give them a call. If not, Dr. Mohney would probably be the person to contact about your application.

So sad to not get into my dream school but I guess I wasn't good enough for them.

AMO experiment. Was in my spam folder. Also notified on website with REJECTED in big, bold, red letters. A little surprised as I got into better schools. They must have a seriously limited number of spots.

Got an admit in MS along with TA with full tuition waiver for one year.
