I am the non-SJSU poster who received an acceptance e-mail. A day or two after receiving my e-mail, I got a letter in the mail telling me I was waitlisted. However, it was dated BEFORE my acceptance e-mail. I'm presuming I was high on the waitlist and as soon as someone declined, I was bumped up. So yes, waitlist notifications have been sent out by now.

Glad I'm not the only one!! Those accepted were supposed to let the school know by the 15th. I heard that waitlists were supposed to come out this week and rejections, next week. But so far I have not heard of anyone being waitlisted!

Rejected for CS. But i have requested for SE as an alternate major.

Got a letter dated 4/12, saying they did not let anyone from the wait list in this year. Glad I already accepted another offer. Very slow response and pretty unprofessional department for such a large school

In-state, non-SJSU applicant for the 2 year program. Received an acceptance e-mail on 4/13 and I have until 4/15 to respond. Nothing in the mail yet. Will be declining. Beautiful school though. Hope it helps someone on the waitlist.

I haven't received notice and I live in San Francisco. I'm assuming that means no since the deadline to accept is 4/15. Congrats to everyone!!!

CA resident, completed post bacc and avid volunteer with students with disabilities. A little frustrated that they notify so late, have been visiting other schools and now am torn to make decision over the next three days. Major drawback is lack of opportunity to pursue medical SLP career, externships seem to be only within the public schools.

I received my acceptance in the mail today (rather than email which was how SJSU said they were going to notify us)! We have until 4/15 to accept the offer for those who are wondering if they haven't heard back yet. I am so thankful and happy for the opportunity to attend SJSU. I'm a first time applicant with experience in tutoring students with autism, volunteering at summer camps for children with special needs, working with seniors with Alzheimer's in a senior home, shadowing SLP, and a research assistant researching infant language development. Hope these stats help those out there!
