Applying from Canadian undergrad - no GRE, research and work experience

I am from a 985 university in mainland China, with an undergraduate major in preventive medicine (87/100, 3.67/4.0) and a minor in financial management (84, 3.46/4.0), and a combined GPA of 3.5/4.0 after WES certification. IELTS score is 7.5 overall (Listening: 7.5, Reading: 8.5, Speaking: 6.5, Writing: 7.5). Extensive experience in scientific research projects, but no publications.

First person to report here for LSE this cycle! Had been put on the reserve list last cycle since I applied late. Reinstated my app after, and then now, received my result: waitlist (for now). This is what they said: "Stronger applications may be placed on the waiting list when the selectors wish to see more applications to gain a better idea of the applicant pool before making a final decision. At times when academic staff may be away, such as Christmas, the waiting list option may also be used. When your application is sent back to the selectors for final consideration, you may be made an offer of admission or your application may be unsuccessful. Please be aware that although your application was considered strong enough to be placed on the waiting list, either outcome is still possible." Hmmm. Anyone got accepted? I'm hopeless lol.

Reserve list

Rejected without interview. LLM with Distinction from LSE. Received the standard rejection and another e-mail suggesting me to apply for the PhD in Gender Studies as my proposal was about feminist legal theory. My guess is that the intersection between feminism and legal theory is lacking at the moment in LSE and I only got one professor to support my application (You need to have 2 professors as your supervisors that support your application). I was accepted by Oxford for their DPhil in Law and I am currently waiting to hear about funding from them.

Sigh... Id received: 14 Jan., rejection: 28 April, no waitlist, no reserve list, no transcript drop. Via LFY and via email a few hours afterwards. LL.M. from LSE (with Mid-Merit), 1 published article in an international journal, 2 research assistant positions, 1 offer to be a teaching assistant and a very niched PhD proposal, with 2 LSE professors nominated as supervisors (from whom I had previously received guidance re my proposal).
