Submitted a day before the funding deadline. Didn't exactly have an interview but had a chat with my supervisor before submitting.

MPhil in History and Philosophy of Science and Medicine. Received an email acceptance at around 4PM GMT. Interviewed last Friday, so I had about a week turnaround since my interview. Eternally grateful.

it's HUMILIATING AND OPPRESSIVE to be defined by a number that is miscalculated by some classic studies b (and other profs too!). IT IS Fking TYRANNY, esp. since i am being tormented by others' intellectual inferiority

UK applicant for the Cambridge MPhil... Must meet the conditions of achieving 67 or higher in my undergraduate degree.

My fourth rejection this cycle. I'm not too surprised because each year the application is always oversubscribed. Even if I were admitted, I would not tend to choose Cambridge and other UK universities because it's very hard to get funding there for international students :( Personal background: Undergraduate: earned from a prestigious UK university, First-Class Honours Degree (GPA 3.85/4.00 after WES evaluation), 1 year of research experience (4 different projects in total, including 1 UROP summer internship at Imperial College London), 3 preprints on arXiv, 2 strong LoR from my undergraduate project advisors; Graduate: currently earning my master's at WashU, GPA 3.43/4.00 (physics major GPA 3.62/4.00), 1.5 years of research experience (master's thesis project), currently writing my first-author paper, 2 department symposium experiences and 1 conference experience (3 posters presented in total), 1 strong LoR from my current PI. GRE 323+4.0 not submitted.

It's sad, but I already knew this because they don't like diversity in their department/unit. They have all whites currently enrolled.

My GPA is from my Master's degree in European History. The PI conducted an interview and told me I would be accepted. He said decisions about internal funding awards will be announced later.

I was notified of the interview on the 23rd of December 2024, the interview was on the 9th of January 2025 (via zoom), and the email of acceptance was received on the 17th of January 2025

No interview. Conditional offer made. Subfield - Modern/Contemporary European History. PI earlier told me internal fundings will be announced later.
