Was given about 10 days to accept/decline

VG/E E/E E/E - Post-Bac

I submitted my application to the two year, on-campus program on 3.16 and received an acceptance letter via email on 3.30. There was no interview and admission appears to be rolling, although it wasn't marketed that way on their website.

I was on my POI's unofficial waitlist for a while but the PhD spot was filled recently.

Received an acceptance after I was told that I was on the waitlist. I will not be accepting this offer.

I submitted my application prior to the funding deadline in December, but because it took the admissions department 14 weeks to process my documents the anthropology department wasn't able to consider my application until April and did not even know that I had submitted it in December. Edinburgh had strikes delaying things in March and COVID-19 related delays afterwords but this was still really disapointing. In the end I was accepted but the department wasn't able to give me funding because they received the application so late. My documents were only finally processed by admissions after I emailed them 5 times. Word of advice, definitely reach out if your documents are not being processed quickly and make sure the department knows that you submitted prior to the funding deadline early on. 2a/7r/0w

I just can't believe it! Still in shock! My top choice! Good luck to everyone!

They stated I would hear in a week and here I am almost 3 weeks later rejected. My portal said “decisioned” for three days before they even posted my rejection. Very surprised and disappointed.

Initially waitlisted but rejected today. Good luck to everyone that got in! It was great meeting you at interviews.
