Waiting for funding decision

I have a master's degree and accepted without funding.

Are there any international applicants like me who still get nothing from UNC so far? Honestly, I expect my rejection every night...

Undergrad from a well reputed University in India. One international IEEE publication. Lots of projects in my intended field of research. Accepted to the MCS program although I applied to the MSCS. Seems like that's the norm. Got an email saying the faculty was "very impressed" with my profile, yet they did not offer financial assistance. I have another offer from USC. Waiting for better colleges.

Accepted to advanced standing

Was in contact with potential PI last year and seemed to come a conclusion that I may be a good fit, haven't received any notification, rejection, or interview invitation as of yet. Not expecting anything for sure at this point. The people here seem very nice, I would recommend reaching out to them if possible if it seems appropriate to do so for future applicants.
