To the previous poster: I received an email to check the portal, where there was now a decision letter. Curious why I'm the only rejection so far lol.

Worked at MIT CSAIL for 6 months, four top conference full papers, two published (both oral). From a university outside US. GPA top 1% in university. Three very strong LoRs from both MIT and own university. TOEFL 114. Every admit is associated with tremendous pain, anxiety, ,desperation and 10 rejects plus a few ill-mannered discouragement behind the stage. Can you imagine, in such a XXXX game, how much disadvantage+unfairness a Chinese male student doing an undergrad outside US is experiencing?

Interested in NLP, relatively little research experience. Any other MS admits get any additional info regarding funding? I don't know how realistic a GSR position is, let alone a TA position.

Had an interview on the 14th. Thought I did well but I was rejected the next day.

Received email, admit oetter on portal. No info yet on funding.

IIT, 1.5 years work experience, 2 undergrad summer research internships.

Anyone with multiple offers and not considering accepting the offer from this school, please quickly reject so that I can have the admission. Please, please, please guys. I have no schools to study now.

Was not expecting this :( Is there any possibilities that they will re consider the application for other courses like Data Science and ISE if approached? And also will they again give chance if someone rejects their admit ?
