Did anybody hear from Penn state after 1st may?? They said they have sent us admits on 15th Apr and if vacancy is created then they will inform waiting list students on 1st may.

Phoned and they said that 99% of their decisions was made and it is highly unlikely to be admitted and they will make all of their decisions by the next week

Status of application says, a decision has been made about your application, the department will let you know shortly. But no email or anything yet. What could be the decision? Is this going to be positive or negative. They didn't take any interview of mine, neither did they told anything earlier!

Didn't expect the acceptance because of the horrible gpa, but excited!

Any idea when PSU will give out their decisions?

Why? Whyyyyyyy? I love this school. Three of their faculty members encouraged me to apply for this program. What happened??? Applied in Dec 5th. MSc GPA: 3.65, ibt TOEFL: 103, 5 ISI papers, 2 conference papers.

I mailed to Ms Peg, Graduate Studies Coordinator avaliable at [email protected] She said results are out on April 15, if you didn't get the mail, you are out.

To the poster below: how did you receive your rejection notice from the program?

Never received any notification regarding my status. Also never received any replies to my emails. After spending all that money to apply, the least they could do is let me know their decision. Highly unprofessional and I definitely do not recommend applying to this program.

To the poster below, Yes i got funding .. was initially admitted without funding. Had to contact POI for funding. Initial funding means total amount for first year

To the posters below, did any of you hear of any funding.....? Or any of you going for PhD aerospace without funding, also what does initial funding mean?
