unofficial admission: "You have been nominated for admission by the UC San Diego Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering department! "

Unofficial admit from the MAE department. Final admission will be given after verification of documents. So happy!

(M.S. GPA=4/4, 1 published paper, 1 paper in peer review, impressive recommendation letters based on my professors' assertion not seen by myself). I have applied for UCSD mid December, yet I have not received any thing yet. How many chances do I have for this program? Should I still wait?

To the poster below. Yes, even I got a similar mail saying I have received the fellowship but not a final admit. I had applied to the EC77 track. Which track had you applied for?

Recieved the email to check the portal where I see the email from the admission committee, claiming that they have nominated me for admission and would be reviewed by Graduate School for official admission. Strong Fit for this program. Told me so early, applied in the regular round. 1a/1r/12p

Non CS Major. Got in with only 2 CS classes completed at the time of my application.

Received an email that I have been accepted with the same info reflected on the portal. Two years HEP-Ex experience. Had been informed about the decision last month itself by my PI. No information regarding the financials yet.
