TTPB (Re: MIT): No, but from my understanding from previous years, MIT does not hold any interviews and calls those accepted in late February and then emails those waitlisted and rejected the next day. So I would not stress about MIT for several more weeks!

Expected, since getting into MIT is hard, and I had no interview. Sorry TTPB with 7 1st authored papers, I'm sure you'll be doing amazing things, they'll regret not admitting you.

Has anyone heard anything back from MIT or know anyone that has heard anything back from mit!?

4.0 Chem and Biochem double major. One 3rd author pub, 2 first author manuscripts in prep. 2 competitive summer research experiences. No GRE. Chem Bio division. So excited!

Physical chemistry, phone call from first choice faculty!

I had two interviews. one with committee one with POI, still did not make it. really disappointing. 7 Journal articles and 3 conference proceedings. 3 years of formal research experience and 5 years in total

aha. 7 first-authored papers on top journals, including 1 on Science Advances (a lot other coauthored papers). recommendations from UCLA, Princeton and others. direct rejection without interview. Anyway, Fight on!
