To the admit below, please when did you apply and how many weeks did your application used under review? I have applied since January 11 and my application is still under review? Also what's your CGPA

I scored 4.0/4.0 GPA in my undergrad. Plus relevant Research Papers and Work Experience. Reputable professional certifications under my belt. Still got REJECTED! I have no idea how high they have set the bar for graduate admissions.

Bachelor in Chemical Engineering. Undergrad at Columbia. Taken computer science courses on Coursera. Strong LORs.

Received a one-way video interview offer this morning. Submitted my application in round 2.

I know someone who had interviewed and got accepted, but I don't think they will give admissions without skype. I had contacted my POI, and he said there is no room for you, but I did not get the rejection. I don't know what is happening. I guess we are just in the list if someone declined the admission, they have people on the list, but the probability is equal to zero. please say your fields to have an estimation.

Anyone knows in UBC computer science program, department gives offer to applicants (and applicants can choose any advisor after their entrance to UBC) or a specific professor gives offer to them?

TTPB. No not interviewed. Are interviews mandatory for UBC or do they also float admits without interviews??

To the poster below: Even I've received an email with referral to the ENTS program and no update on the website. I suppose that it will be updated with the rejection in a few days.

TTPB: Do you guys had an interview with POI? I have received nothing from the department and still don't know I will be rejected or not.
