rejection letter sent in the portal hep-ex

Interviewed on January 27. Status changed from "Under review by department" to "Unsuccessful" today. Non-UK applicant, didn't do part iii, not in field of hep.

No interview. No GRE. 3 years undergrad research experience. 2 published papers but not first author on either. 1 poster presentation at conference.

Not heard back from UPenn at all. Has anyone heard back from UPenn, Penn State, USC, NYU, UT Austin, Columbia, or UMD? Cosmology, hep-th.

The professor told me that they gave offers during the week of Feb 10. Because I had already accepted an offer from another place, they changed my status to ‘denied,’ or I could also get an offer.

Have they sent out all the offers? Is anyone else who interviewed at Penn also still waiting for a decision?

If you have received an offer from this program but are planning to accept another opportunity-especially if you have a better offer elsewhere-I would sincerely appreciate it if you could inform the university of your decision as soon as possible.
