TTPSB: Lol I think it's all gonna be mass rejects now looking at last year's pattern. Application still says under review so I am legit preparing myself for a reject. Really bummed!

I got this reply 20hrs back.

Mailed them about decisions. “All decisions will be finalized by this Friday.”

TTPB: it means your decision will be out in 1-2 days, accept or reject as I see from previous posts. Maybe reject since many admits are already out? Idk not sure at this point.

Anyone got status change to - Update Pending? This means it can either be an accept or a reject right?

Has an MSc with cgpa 3.44. Research experience 4 years. Applied to NLP, has 11 publications, five of them I'm first author. Conferences: (EMNLP, LREC, COLING and a couple of workshops). Strong RL. Not even and interview, I guess at the end of the day grades is all what matters!

Admits from ambi and mod universities but reject from a safe university! As someone said, maybe they need a guy who won Turing award!
