Accepted sans interview. No funding.

GPA is MA. I sent an email to check on my application, and they responded with an acceptance letter. Overall, funding is good. I've also been nominated for a fellowship, so here's hoping.

Notice from PI after the interview weekend-- selected another student.

put on a short wait-list. they told me that they are hoping to accept me but have financial constraints. hopefully someone accepts a better offer somewhere else!

To the person below- I go to Purdue and have not heard about anyone getting interviews. I do not think there are even formal interviews. In years past they invited accept students to tour the clinic, but that is it.

has anyone been reached out for interviews? cuuuz i havent. One on my friends said PU is already reaching out, may be a rumor though

TOEFL Score 110. Application submitted on Jan 20th.

I kinda knew it anyway...whatever, there will be somewhere else for me. I just feel so sad when I think that quick rejection =they took one look at my application, thought 'meh' and threw it in the trash. :'

4 years of research experience. 3 pubs in very good journals(one first author and 2 second). 4-semester teaching assistant. Many conferences and seminars. 2 strong Reco and one moderate. Top school from India. Interviewed by one of the professors not mentioned in the SOP. Accepted with ROSS fellowship. have to commit within 15 April. Future Boilermakers!
