Applied for CMT or CME. Previous experience: 2 REUs, one in CME and another project in CMT, No publications. I guess got rejected for no publications.

4 years of guaranteed funding. Spoke to 4 faculty before submitting application, and it definitely made all the difference.

Applied for CMT/CME. 3 years research experience in soft matter and subsequently condensed matter. Mechanical Engineering and Physics dual major.

CMT or CME. US citizen. Two undergrads (one USA, on international), current international master's student. 1.5 yr experience in biophys/pchem research, 1 year in CMT research. GTA experience. Result as expected.

It is not unexpected. It's high reach.

Rejected from all my dream schools.

I Emailed Bianca Burns last week & she said that Admissions are being evaluated & all decisions will be out by Feb. Has anybody recd any decisions/ interview requests so far? I tried emailing POI - no response yet
