Rejected. One interview. An employee of a top tech company. How many people got admissions from this program?

Rejected: Computer Vision PHD; No interview

Data scientist at FAANG. 3 international pubs (2 moderate, 1 international). Good GPA, GRE: 321. Good SOP, great LORs.

9.1 cgpa from Top 5 IITS. 2 papers in ok conferences in Robotics (1 first author paper). Track: Robotics/AI

Generic rejection. My GPA is 3.55 from graduating from CMU, applied directly to PhD. I have 6 publication (ACL, ICMLA, etc.) with one bedt paper award from ACL. I applied to the NLP group.

Quite expected after seeing many rejections. Hope not the same trend everywhere else. 4.0, a top US school, 3 pubs (1 journal). NLP

Is there anyone also did not receive neither acceptance mail nor rejection mail? Seems UW does not have a waitlist?

TTPB: I am a student from Taiwan. I saw a Taiwanese student got an ms statistics offer from UW-Seattle on a Taiwanese forum. To note, I am not sure whether he is a US citizen, but he finished his Bachelor's degree in a Taiwanese University. BTW, I also applied to the program, but I haven't received any results yet.

It says in the email that many with strong qualifications were denied due to limited space. Congrats to those who are accepted!

Top U from China, two years' working experience, no pubs

7 publications (3 Journals, 4 conferences), 1 workshop organizer, 3 first author. I guess they sorted based on GPA, my Master's GPA was not very well (3.7). My focus was on research and all my courses were Ph.D. level. Sad.

Top US CS school undergrad. Worked for two years after graduation. No papers. No interview.

Two 1st-author papers jn top conference. One 2nd-author paper in top conference.

Only school I've been rejected from. Hard to not be a little bit sad about it, but I got into CMU, UIUC and other top programs.

Applied on 12/31, right before the deadline. Did not submit GRE score. International student with economics undergrad in the US and some research experience.

Notice for a second round of interviews (what would normally be a site visit) after two skype interviews last week. Next round consists of four interviews with faculty/admissions committee members, an additional interview with the program director, and an opportunity to virtually attend one or two courses.
