MS CS reject.

Applied on 5th Jan. Notified on 28th Feb. Interviewed with PI on 14th March. Waiting for further update.

I received a reject for Informatics Global PhD Scholarship. Does it mean my application will be rejected now?

3 top tier conf. publications(one first author), two strong recommendations(I hope so!). I think they are still sending out the accept notifications. So, please keep your hopes high :).

Saw it coming

The 'View' button on my application changed to 'View/Update' 3-4 days back. Any idea if this is indicative of anything?

Waitlisted until June 30. It's my top choice out of those left. Not sure if I am happy or sad about it.

I applied to UK universities 1 month after applying to Waterloo and I already received their results in a period of 2 months. Does anybody else think Waterloo is taking too much time to assess all the applications? They already rolled out acceptance for applicants who had interviews. I feel they are keeping the rest of us hanging and like last year they'll not respond to us by April end. I didn't received any mail so far and it has been 3 months now.

To the poster below: Jeez, calm down dude. I know you're frustrated, but don't take admissions decisions personally. Good luck at your better school (after all, Columbia's decision doesn't really matter if you don't plan on going there).

Screw you Columbia admission office! I got better schools accepted but no interview from you. I am NOT unqualified with my goddamn stats. And you do not respond my goddamn email. You'd better send the goddamn admission letter to me tomorrow, and I'd reject it, and put two words and four exclamation marks on the reason section-F**K YOU!!!!
