TTPB who have already got admitted, did you guys all get an email for a pre-recorded behavioral interview? Is this interview a necessary condition for future consideration? What role does this interview play? Does anyone else from 2nd priority ddl also get the interview?

Talked to the department, they are planning to make all decisions next week.

So excited!! Received the email earlier today. No interviews. 1 First Author publication, 3 strong LORs, and previous research collaboration with one of the POIs. Focusing on cosmology/simulations.

generic rejection via email; physics education research interest, two undergrad research projects in the field, one unrelated REU, three years of relevant work experience.

TTPB: Interviews are not a requisite for acceptance. They are getting close to making final decisions. We may hear back from them later this week.

Has anyone heard back from this program? Do they usually conduct interviews prior to giving out acceptances?
