Unofficial Acceptance from Department

Heard from the graduate academic advisor 3 weeks after submitting my application. I was not interviewed, directly received the official result. I applied earlier than the deadline. When she emailed that I was admitted, applications were still open. 2 days after her email, I received the official admission letter. No information about funding.

3.0/4.0 admitted with fellowship. LoRs and SOP might work.

No GRE Fellowship for the first year, Financial support for subsequent years of PhD will be provided by RA. Contacted with multiple POI.

Accepted with 1-year fellowship. No GRE submitted

Sure my GPA is 2.7 TO 3. I have 3 first author publication. GRE( Q: 146/V:142), TOEFL(76).

I submitted my application Dec 13th. Heard back about the waitlist situation on Jan 7th I think. At GaTech, I think you basically have to email professors before you apply. Don't understand what the point of applying is if I'm supposed to find an advisor myself after it? Just do admissions by email.

Accepted to Masters instead.

Ttpb, I applied for materials track and I was interviewed by my POI.

I received an admission from them in December. The only school that has accepted me so far. There was no funding offered yet. If a reasonable funding is offered, then there's a chance I attend.

I got a nice mail telling me I've been rejected. This was one of my top schools I was hoping for. It made me anxious. I hope my other schools come in.

Guys who did not got any interview invites, its okay. I understand the pain it takes in preparing a application for any student. Don't compare your profile with anyone my dear friend. 'Comparison kills the joy of achievement'. Be proud of what ever profile you have. Be proud of all the achievements you all have overcome. Yes we have all have been short in some way in our application and that's why we haven't got any interview. It's fine I believe my friends. Those who will be getting acceptance ahead, a big congratulation on your hard-work and hope you all will contribute to this world. And the ones who are going to be rejected, its fine. Don't kill your achievements by comparing with the accepted students my friend. Stay Safe

So I had submitted my application on December 15 and uploaded unofficial transcript on the same day on academic history section of the BU-CAS application. Now that most of the students have been accepted/rejected, I received an email saying my unofficial transcript is missing and they need it to send my application for review. I went on BU-CAS application and my unofficial transcript was there with uploaded time (December 15). At this point I am almost certain that my application will get rejected. So Is it okay to ask for refund?

Have to find advisor to get admitted.

Had an interview on 7th Jan for 10-15 min. Waiting for the results.
