I contacted the head of the department, and they sent email saying I'd been accepted back at the beginning of March. I sent an email two weeks ago that was forwarded to someone else, but never heard back - so I emailed somebody else. The UNC website still says "your decision is not yet available." At this late date, I accepted another program's offer. This is REALLY messed up. | ||||

The e-mail came just when I was starting to doubt I'd hear anything at all and I could not be happier that I got into my top choice school! I will definitely be accepting this offer. To the other UNC applicant, I am also still waiting - I checked in a few weeks ago and was told I should hear "soon." Hopefully that means by the end of this week. UNC is my top choice, but I have other acceptances I'm sitting on and I need to start making life plans no matter what the outcome is with UNC. | ||||
