Received an email from the head of the program letting me know I was accepted!! An official letter is on its way...!!! VERY excited! Interviewed and was pleasantly surprised by how much I like the program/faculty/students!

GPA & GRE on lower end, but ~2 years of full-time lab tech experience at a big state school and 2 years at an Ivy. 1 publication and a few posters. Proves that taking the extra time off as a technician can really help supplement low academic stats. So excited!!!

When your GPA is shit, networking will save your fucking life. Also having 5 pubs (2 3rds, 1 2nd) and 3.5 years of postgrad experience doesn't hurt! Also have a 3.7 MS GPA

Emailed, given by March 5th to make decision about enrollment.

Finally!

Was invited to attend Grad-Recruitment Weekend (33 total students invited!). I'm interested in cognitive robotics and reinforcement learning research. No PIs reached out to me, but when I reached out to some they said they already scheduled a time to talk with me during the event.
