CSD GPA: 3.59; I had a phone interview April 30th, and received an email shortly 24 hours later that I was accepted off of the waitlist! I could not be more ecstatic!!! This is my second year applying to schools, but first time applying to Fort Hays. A year ago I only applied to my hometown schools and this year I applied to 21 all over the USA. Do not give up on your dreams and do whatever you have to do in order to accomplish them! Totally was worth applying to that many! Also, has anyone created a Facebook group yet? Would love to join and figure out roommates!

Accepted with a 3.74 GPA with Edmund rice scholarship. I am an undergraduate here. Iona has amazing professors and has shaped me as a student and I am so grateful for my time here at Iona. Call the director who is so helpful and great to have any questions answered.

Got accepted off the waitlist but I already accepted a position at a different school.

Has anyone who has been wait listed heard back yet? They said it could take until the end of June to make final decisions, but I am hoping they will notify us before that time.

Applied to this school via CSDCAS as a backup after I was anxiously awaiting hearing from other schools. Visited it and it seemed like a disorganized program that did not have much to offer (no TSSLD, minimal electives if any, no funding for anyone that wasn't already an Iona student). I also didn't like the fact that they intentionally waited until May to notify students. Why the wait? My application was submitted in February. I was accepted to three other programs (none of which are pre-accreditation status!) and happily accepted an offer elsewhere at my top choice program over a month ago.

Post bacc 3.74. Also received the Edmund Rice Scholarship worth $500 per 3 credit course. I am honored to be accepted, but I will not be attending because I already put my deposit down towards a much cheaper school.

Rejected off the wait list today. Very heartbroken as it was the easiest commute for me but I did get into another program in Connecticut. GPA: 3.6 GRE: verbal 148, quant 140, writing 4.5 Extensive research experience and great LORs. Surprised I got this far with my stats and it was definitely due to my research and thesis paper. Good luck to everyone and just know you don't need a 4.0 to get into a program! Don't give up!
