Columbia does NOT have rolling admissions hence submissions below are most likely fake (See for example GPA 2.63/ GRE 148/152. Nearly impossible for such a Competitive Program people!). In the official Center for Data Science there is a Recorded Info Session where they say the results will be out around mid March (9th-20th). There is usually a second wave of Acc/Rej around April to those waitlisted in the first round. The same thing happened with CMU Computer Science ML program. STOP fake posting!

Thaaaaaank you so much for the two posts below. But I'm so worried now as I don't get even an interview. Would you mind sharing your profiles please? Are you in a quantitative major? Because I knew one person applied in the round one interviewed with so technical questions, that person majored in a non-quantitative major.

When I was offered an interview, they mentioned that the strike among UK universities is impacting their schedule somewhat. After my interview, they said they were hoping to get back to me next week.

I interviewed last week. Very technical. The strike meant they were not flexible with interview schedules, I had mine at 5 am my time. I expect to hear in two weeks probably after they get the pool of March applicants. I applied for the January deadline and heard from them exactly one month after submission. Hope that was helpful, and no to fake news!

So less applicants to social data science program. I could never see any posts for it, most are for social science of the internet and the DPhil. So worrid.
