Phone call offering me acceptance and a $20K scholarship. Thrillled. 5a/0w/6r, 3 pending

Wooo! First acceptance. I'm elated. Info on assistantships coming later.

Received an email after I saw the "Not Admitted" on my application.

Still in shock. Received a lovely phone call from Gary Shteyngart. I was offered a $10,000 scholarship, renewable each year, and haven't heard about other financial aid yet. My god, this is a dream. I really hope I can figure out how to fund this.

I got the cryptic message via the portal on March 1st, and I emailed to confirm. Baltimore. I want to go to there.

Whoa cool.

Call from Gary. Great! Now only have to pay 100k to keep talking to him.

Hoping for the best! 0a/1w/2r/1p

They update the results on the application on March 1st but they don't email you to go check, so I didn't know until today (March 15th)

For the accepted poster below, was it in fiction, poetry, or CNF.

i'm numb from the eight rejections, but as frank conroy said: you succeed, you celebrate, you stop writing. you don't succeed, you despair, you stop writing. just keep writing. don't let success or failure stop you. just keep writing.

Status: American living abroad. Email to check portal, rather impersonal and cold rejection letter.

The odds were always stacked against us. Good luck everyone.
